A red haired woman in her late eighties lays on her deathbed. Suddenly a door opens. The red haired woman looks up to see a man in a suit and trench coat wearing beat up old converse standing watching her with both sadness and happiness etched on his face.
"Oi, who are you? Standing there just watching me. What's your name?" the red haired woman asks.
The man steps forward and extends a hand for her to shake. "I'm the Doctor," he replies.
She reaches out her hand and grasps his. Suddenly, memories come flooding back. A giant red spider. Little fat creatures. A family from Pompeii. A planet made of diamonds. Daleks. The TARDIS. The song of the Ood and every other place that she went with the remarkable man, the Doctor.
"It's about time you showed up, space man," she whispers. "It's good to see you one last time, Doctor."
"It's good to see you, too, Donna Noble, the most important woman in the universe."
A smile crosses Donna's face as she takes her final breath.
