Introduction- Juniper's Unique Situation

Juniper Kingsley was always known as the black sheep in her family. Since birth, there was always something different about her. This "something" involved her huddled in a corner rambling on about her day to no one in particular. No matter how many toys and electronics her parents would give her, something would always divert her attention away from there. Her parents would reassure themselves that it was probably her imaginary friends and she would outgrow them someday. That was until one day these little "friends" of hers led her into the deep depths of the forest. After many hours of police sirens and stress, little Juniper was found and brought home. To everyone's surprise, she loathed home and wanted to go back into the forest. Concerned about their daughter's welfare, they decided to leave this situation up to the professionals-they decided to call a psychologist. Although Juniper tried her best to convince everyone that she was fine, she hesitantly opened up to the doctor. What the doctor was about to find out sent a shockwave to the entire family.

Juniper can see duel-spirits.

Now the doctor wasn't very surprised at this, there were other cases that were similar to this one. However, Juniper's family were very secular individuals. They were never open-minded to the possibility that spirits, nevertheless duel-spirits even existed. So when they were informed about this, they laughed it off and demanded a new psychologist. But when Juniper started dueling for the first time, her parents could've sworn sensed a spark that ignited when she used that deck. The way she would "tune-in" with her monsters and her everlasting enthusiasm made her the perfect duelist. At the age of 14, Juniper was sent off to Duel Academy.
