"Come on Chakka, say 'father'…"

"Bahbahbahbahbah!"

"Say 'fa-ther'…"

"A-gaaah! Gaaaaaahhhh!"

*sigh*

Tiger Claw set down his 8 month old son down on his playmat with a sigh. He was trying to teach the cub to talk but he had no luck, I mean, he could speak…sort of, but when he tried to say something it always came out as a babble much to the baby's disappointment but he kept trying though, still, babbles escaped his gummy tooth-filled mouth.

Tiger Claw smiled at little Chakka and ruffled his messy hair tuff.

"It will come in time Chakka, just wait and see…" the large tiger said before planting a tiny kiss on his head.

Chakka giggled.

Tiger Claw let out a smile before heading out to the throne room.

As the day went on, Chakka still couldn't talk, no matter how he tried, babbles still came out of his mouth. He tried for many days until….

"TIGER! COME QUICK!"

Tiger Claw rushed down the hall after hearing Lotus's cry.

Bebop appeared in the room before the large tiger mutant even got there.

"What's up? He's OK?" Bebop asked worryingly.

But Lotus's cry wasn't a cy of worry, it was a cry of happiness.

As she held a giggling Chakka in her paws she said, "…Chakka said his first word!"

Bebop gasped and asked in excitement, "He did?!"

The mutant warthog walked up to Lotus with a big grin on his face and crossed his arms.

"Come on honey.." Lotus said to little Chakka as she held him close to Bebop's face. "Say it again.."

"E'op!" Chakka said to the mutant warthog.

Bebop's smile quickly turned into a frown.

"My name ain't Bebop…" Bebop scowled in annoyance.

"Well…we didn't say it wasn't…" Lotus said.

Tiger Claw entered the room and picked up his giggling little boy, lifting him up and down in his large paws and letting him climb on his head.

"Then where'd he get it from?" Bebop asked raising a brow.

"E'op!" Chakka said again, crawling on his father's head.

"Well sometimes you do say it's your name…" Lotus said, rubbing her neck with her paw.

Bebop snorted in annoyance and said, "I only say it is when I say my name ain't it!"

Chakka looked at his warthog uncle with wide yellow eyes and said again, "E'op!"

Bebop rolled his eyes and snorted in annoyance again.

"OK kid.." he said. "We get it you can talk now.."

The warthog softened a little and gently bopped Chakka's nose with his finger.

Chakka giggled and put his little paws on his snout.

Bebop chuckled and turned invisible as he left the room leaving the three cats alone.

Lotus smirked at Tiger Claw and winked a bit before looking down at Chakka.

"Say Be-bop.." Lotus smiled at her little son.

"E'op!" Chakka said.

Bebop turned visible inside the room.

"IT WAS YOU!"

Chakka laughed at his uncles antics.

Lotus smirked and said, "Guilty as charged.."

Tiger Claw chuckled.

"E'op! E'op! E'op!" Chakka giggled.

"OK now, listen kid my name ain't Bebop OK?" Bebop asked to the cub who was giggling.

Chakka hugged his chest with a purr.

"Mmm..E'op.." Chakka said.

"Nononono kid…my name is Anton." Bebop told the cub. "C'mon, say it with me…'An-ton'."

Chakka didn't listen but continued to hug his mutant warthog uncle.

"Wov' E'op.."

Bebop groaned.

I found that to be very entertaining.
