Time Twister - A Mighty Med Fanfiction...

A/N - Well here is my new and first Mighty Med story. I am super excited about this and I really hope you guys like this. Now; this story will be Kaz centered but it will contain mentions of Skoliver and happenings of Skoliver as well. So don't worry about that lol. Anyway; this is a test. I will be gone from tomorrow to Monday so I won't be able to update over the weekend. But I do want to see if people like this and want me to continue. I've never written for Mighty Med obviously so I hope I did my best by keeping everyone in character and with explaining things. If you ever have any questions please feel free to pm me or leave them in your reviews and I will try to answer them. So; without saying anything else please enjoy chapter one of Time Twister. Plus I own nothing from Mighty Med sadly. So yeah; enjoy.

Chapter 1

Timeline Diamond

Mighty Med wasn't very busy today at all. Which was honestly weird considering it was a Monday after school hours which meant that by this time Kaz and Oliver would usually be saving someone's life by now. But oddly enough; everything was quiet. In fact, it was so quiet, that the two friends could hear each other breathing.

But the silence didn't seem to faze them. No; it really didn't. After all; both boys were doing their own thing at the moment. Kaz was playing a video game on his portable ps3 trying to beat his latest high score; while Oliver was working on his laptop trying to get some school work done. So honestly; the silence was nice.

"- Check it out - " Kaz stated interrupting the silence as he glanced over at Oliver still not stopping what he was doing. " - I decided to beat my high score from last week. You know the one I beat when future me came to visit us?" Kaz asked with a smirk as he put on his thinking face.

"Again?" Oliver asked with annoyance.

"Yes; again." Kaz replied with an eye roll. "Is there a problem with that?" Kaz wondered as he continued to press the buttons with no patients.

"No; but I'm just saying that is all you seem to do when were not at school or working." Oliver explained as he shook his head and went back to his work.

"And you say that like it's a bad thing." Kaz stated as he looked up for a moment and then look back down.

"Because -" Oliver began before he trailed off and thought of something. "- Never mind; it doesn't matter." Oliver added with a sigh as he looked down.

The silence came back over the two friends as they went back to their own thing. Sometimes it was better to cut the conversation off when Kaz didn't get things. At least; that's what Oliver thought. And Kaz thought it was best to just play it off and not think about what Oliver was about to say. It was a simple solution.

Both of them liked it and that's how they kept it. However their silence didn't last much longer when Horace Diaz the owner of Mighty Med came walking in. But as he came walking in the two boys noticed that he was in a rush; and that he wasn't alone. Horace's cousin Timeline was with them and he was on a gurney.

"Boys! Quick! Hand me the Exceller. We need to use it quickly because if not then Timeline will surely no longer be with us!" Horace explained fastly.

So; Oliver jumped into action with Kaz next to him like always. Grabbing the device from the main lobbies table where Kaz had been sitting; Oliver had tossed it over to Horace. Watching while Horace did what he needed to do both boys were amazed to see Timeline fully recover from his troubles.

"There you're all better!" Horace exclaimed with a smile as he set down the Exceller and patted his cousin on the back.

"Thank you." Timeline replied with happiness as he held up a hand and looked towards Oliver and Kaz. " - And what happened was that I was trying to stop Switchblade from killing some hostages he was holding in an abandon crystal factory when we got on top of the cat walks. From there he had managed to push me off into some kind of dangerous chemical that weekend me. Luckily though before I blacked out I managed to rip the robe that Switchblade was wearing and some kind of object fell out." Timeline explained as he sighed to himself as Oliver and Kaz finally made it over to him.

"Really? What kind of object?" Oliver questioned with interest.

"This -" Timeline began as he pulled out a huge diamond from his robe. It was sparkling and glowing slightly. "- the Timeline Diamond." Timeline added.

"Cool..." Kaz replied with a smile as he stared at it. "What does it do exactly?" Kaz asked with interest as well as he went to touch it only for his hand to be smacked away by Timeline.

"It keeps time in line of course!" Timeline stated like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "If something were to happen to this then the whole fabric of the universe would be at stake. I have no idea why Switchblade had it but it was a good thing that I wounded up with it. Who knows what that Villain was planning to do with it." Timeline finished explaining as he frowned at the thought of those possibilities.

"Please; anyone would have known that he was planning on planting it onto you so that you'd break it." Oliver explained like it was no big deal. "After all; everyone knows that is the only way for you to lose your powers and not be here. If you were the cause of time being messed up then you wouldn't exist." Oliver finished.

"Smart boy -" Timeline said with a smile as he pointed to Oliver who smiled at the comment. "- I like that. But sadly that it true. If I were gone your time would be out of whack and nothing would be going right. But if someone else were to break it; oh lord; only their time would be messed up and they'd cease to exist."

Kaz whistled at that last explanation.

"Wow; that is just messed up." Kaz stated with a slight goofy smile as Oliver turned and sent him a warning look.

"It might be messed up; but it is a serious problem." Timeline replied with a serious tone. "If you were to break time; then your friend's life here would completely change." Timeline explained as he pointed to Kaz and then Oliver as an example. " - And you would end up ceasing to exist." Timeline finished as he looked at Kaz.

"Well then -" Kaz said with a frown at the thought. "- I guess it's a good thing you have it." Kaz repeated from Timeline as he clapped his hands together.

"Yes, yes it is." Timeline said as he continued to look at the diamond in his hands. "But I cannot keep it. It is too dangerous to me as well. We need to put it somewhere no one will be able to get it." Timeline explained as he looked up at Oliver and Kaz hoping they would have a solution. Luckily they did.

"I know." Oliver said as he snapped his fingers. "We can keep it in the Mighty Med safe." Oliver explained with a smile.

"Are you sure?" Timeline asked with hope as Oliver nodded.

"Yeah; no one uses it; well Horace does; but he is the only one who knows the safe's combination." Oliver explained as Kaz nodded in agreement. "Plus the safe is bulletproof and Villain proof." Oliver added as Timeline smiled.

"Then we will keep it in the safe, only my cousin can touch it." Timeline stated suddenly with a serious tone once more.

"Great! Now all we need to do is ask Horace!" Oliver exclaimed with slight excitement.

"Ask me what?!" Horace asked as he walked back over to where everyone was. He had left to write things down in another room for Timeline.

"If we can keep some diamond thingy in the safe here in Mighty Med so that time doesn't whack out or something like that." Kaz replied as everyone gave him a look. "What? I only paid attention to half of the conversation!" Kaz argued as Oliver face palmed.

"What diamond thingy?!" Horace asked with interest as he turned to Oliver.

"The Timeline Diamond." Oliver explained as Horace's eyes widen. Suddenly he had rushed over to Timeline.

"Of course you can keep the diamond here! It will be in good hands and no one will be able to get to it!" Horace explained as Timeline smiled.

"Thank you cousin." Timeline stated. "- And who knows; this might actually get you on my good side." Timeline added as Horace smiled.

So; the boys joined Horace and Timeline as they started putting their plan into action. Horace had but on a pair of blue gloves to grab the diamond carefully and slowly. Plus if you touched the diamond without gloves it would cause the holder to see flashes of the past and future in their mind. No one wanted that.

As Horace took the diamond; Kaz and Oliver helped Timeline to his feet. Soon enough all four of them were walking down the halls and to the other side of Mighty Med where Horace kept the safe. While walking both Oliver and Kaz couldn't help but wonder more about the diamond. After all, it was a pretty cool artifact.

Yet their thoughts were interrupted when they finally arrived. Horace had shoved all three of them into a room. The room wasn't big and it wasn't small. But that wasn't important. What was important was the safe that sat dead center in the room on the other side against the back wall.

It was big, and square. It had a large combination turner and handle. Being so big Horace had to hand over the diamond for Timeline to hold as he opened the safe. Timeline gladly took the diamond he, Oliver and Kaz all stood off to the side as they watched Horace start to unlock the safe.

While standing their Timeline watched with a frown on his face he got a sudden vision that was about to happen right as he got the vision. Speaking of which, it came true. His cousin had opened the safe and swung it so fast that no one saw it coming. In fact, it was so fast that it hit Kaz and knocked him backwards.

Only as Kaz stumbled backwards he stumbled into Timeline who wasn't ready for the impact. As soon as Kaz him he lost balance and began to fall backwards as well; all while feeling the diamond fall from his hands. But as Timeline fell; Kaz had turned to land on his stomach and noticed the diamond falling.

Reaching his hands out, Kaz had managed to catch the diamond in his hands only to land on the ground with a loud thud and lose hold of it. Everyone was watching the scene at this point and watched in horror as the diamond smashed into the ground. Oliver and Horace did try to catch the diamond as it fell; only to fail.

The diamond was now shattered into a million pieces on the ground...

A/N - Well there was chapter one! How was it? Good? Bad? Should I continue? I hope that didn't seem rushed. I wasn't going for rushed at all. It was just how the chapter worked out. Anyway like I said. I mostly won't update until I get back from camp this weekend. Or until I have a few chapters written which I plan on doing. So yeah; I should be able to update soon.
