It was a hot day, one of those days where there is no wind. A day with not a cloud in the sky. A day where anything could happen. A perfect day to set off a volcano. Randy and Howard stood there looking at the volcano. In the distends they heard a clock chime eleven,

This is it," Randy said nervously.

"Cunningham, if something happens I just want to say that I wouldn't want any other partner then you." Howard said.

"Thanks buddy." Randy said smiling, "Ready?" Howard just nodded and they set to their task.

.

Randy looked into the volcano and sighed.

"It's all set Howard." He said wishing that they had a little more time. Howard opened his hand and dropped the white powder. They looked into the volcano and watch as it it rose. Suddenly Randy noticed that it was rising faster than it should.

"Howard you put too much in!" Randy yelled, as he started to panic.

"You have to stop it!" Howard yelled, stepping back.

"What do you mean, I have to stop it!?" Randy yelled back, "You're the one who put too much in!"

"Well you're the one who-" Howard stopped shorted and glanced at the volcano which was almost overflowing, 'We should run."

"Good idea," Randy said and the boys took off running. They heard the volcano go off behind. They heard their classmates' screams of panic as they tried to find shelter. They ran past Mrs. Driscoll who had red stuff dripping down her face. Randy and Howard found some place to hide and jumped under it. Suddenly it was all quite.

"Is it safe?" Howard asked. Randy stuck his head out from under the table and quickly pulled it back in.

"Nope," Randy said gulping, "We are in trouble now."

"Randy I'm so sorry!" Howard said, feeling awful.

"It's ok," Randy said patting his friends shoulder. They heard footsteps coming towards them.

"We aren't going to get out of this one," Howard said. "This whole place is a mess and its totally our faults." They heard the footsteps stop and suddenly they were pulled out into the open.

.

"How," Mrs. Driscoll said slowly, "On earth do you fail a baking powder and vinegar volcano? You managed to destroy two other science experiments and made a mess!" She wiped some of the red subsets off her face.

"Also this looks nothing like lava!" Jerry said though Mrs. Driscoll, "You went way over board with the food coloring." The science teacher smiled at Jerry.

"You were always a perfectionist," she cooed then turned back to the boys, "I'm going to have to give you both Fs and you'll need to clean up the mess."

"Next time let's just stick with the fart box," Howard whispered.

The End!
