Heard this song on the radio the other day and knew I had to write this. Enjoy.

"Hey, Stan," Wendy said. Stan smiled. "Hey, Wendy." There was an awkward pause.

"...Look, Stan! A diversion!" Stan turned to look as Wendy attemped to grab him and kiss him, but- too late. He threw up all over her.

"Gross! Look, I've tried everything, and I just don't think it's gonna work out, so... I guess this is goodbye, Stan," Wendy said. The two just gazed into each others' eyes one last time. Stan threw up again. "Ewww! That's it!" She left Stan sitting alone at his desk to join Bebe.

I would say I'm sorry
If I thought that it would change your mind

He sighed and rested his chin in his hands. "Hey, dude." It was Kyle.

But I know that this time
I've said too much
Been too unkind..

"Hey."

"What's wrong?"

I try to laugh about it
Cover it all up with lies

"Oh, nothing.."
I try and laugh about it
Hiding the tears in my eyes

Kyle frowned. "Don't lie, Stan. Come on, I'm your best friend. You can tell me anything."

Stan put his head down on his desk.

'cause boys don't cry
Boys don't cry..

"..Stan? Come on.. talk to me, you can trust me.. Stan?"

I would break down at your feet
And beg forgiveness
Plead with you

Kyle sighed. "Is this one of those 'I just want to be left alone' moments?"

But I know that
It's too late
And now there's nothing I can do..

Stan looked up. His face was red. He nodded slowly.

Kyle quietly returned to his seat, trying not to draw too much attention to the sobbing boy.

So I try to laugh about it
Cover it all up with lies

Cartman noticed Stan's discomfort and decided to give him a hard time.

"Hey, Stan! What's wrong? Did a big scary kindergartner beat you up or something?"

I try to laugh about it
Hiding the tears in my eyes

"Sh-shut up, fat-ass,"

Cartman started to laugh. "Stan, you're such a pussy! Quit your bitching, you gay homosexual!" He walked away, laughing to himself.

'cause boys don't cry

Great, he thought. Just great. My girlfriend dumps me, my sister kicks my ass worse than usual... how could this day get any worse?

I would tell you
That I loved you
If I thought that you would stay

Mr. Mackey appeared in the doorway. "Phone call for Stan Marsh, m'kay?"

He tried to dry his tears with his sleeve. Sniffling and looking worried, Stan followed Mr. Mackey to the office.

"H-hello?"

But I know that it's no use
That you've already
Gone away

"Stanley, it's your father. I have some.. bad news,"

Misjudged your limits
Pushed you too far

"Um.. okay, what's wrong?"

Took you for granted
I thought that you needed me more

"Your mother and I are getting a divorce,"

Now I would do most anything
To get you back by my side

Silence.

But I just
Keep on laughing
Hiding the tears in my eyes

"...Stan?"

'cause boys don't cry

"Now, Stanley, it's all right, you can stay here in South Park, and live a normal-"

Stan wailed with despair as Mr. Mackey and Principal Victoria tried to calm him down.

Boys don't cry

"It' alright Stan, plenty of kids have parents who are divorced. It's perfectly normal,
m'kay."

"Oh, come now Stanley, it's won't be so bad. My parents were divorced, and look at how successful my life is!" Principal Victoria said.

This didn't make him feel any better.

"Just.. just leave me alone.."

Boys don't cry.
