"No, don't. Stop hurting her. No No No!"
Dipper shot up, sweat and tears cascading down his ashen skin. He had been having the same dream for over three weeks in it, he and Mabel where back in the Gnome cave but his time Jeff had launched himself at Dipper and managed to subdue him, and after sending six other Gnomes over to hold Dipper down Jeff walked over to Mabel, reared back and sent a diminutive fist right into the center of her face. Blood spewed out and splattered over Jeff's overalls, she screamed but was silenced by another strike from Jeff
"Marry us Mabel, before we do something crazy."
Jeff kept saying this over and over like a broken record with every punch, all Dipper could do was writhe on the grassy carpet of the cave and rubbed his face to wipe away the sleep and then looked up and over towards his slumbering twin. He let his eyes trace along her slender outline, curled up tightly in her favorite blanket. Air whistled from between his lips as he let himself all back into the bed. He closed his eyes for half a second to adjust them to the silvery light spilling in though the widow, when he opened them again, he screamed. There, above Mabel's bed loomed Gideon. His left eye was glowing as if he was using his amulet and his right eye was missing, it looked like someone had dug their hand into his face and ripped it out by force. Blood ran down his face and dripped off his chin, splashing onto Mabel's cheek, she didn't stir than Gideon raised his hand. Mabel slowly ascended up to the deranged little boy; he gazed at her almost lovingly. Dipper tried to get up but a quick head jerk from Gideon and Dipper was flung against the far wall.
"I'll be back for you… boy".
With that Gideon shot the widow off its hinges and flew off into the night carrying the still sleeping Mabel with him.
Mabel jolted awake hearing anguished crying, she twisted in her bed to see Dipper thrashing around, tears staining his orange shirt and sobbing her name and cursing at Gideon. She jumped out of bed and stumbled through the darkness
"Dipper, Dipper wake up it's just a dream, it's just a dream".
Dipper's eyes opened, he saw the worried face of his sister, his eyes flashed up to the spot where Gideon had was nothing there
"sorry, I was just another nightmare. It's almost like their starting to get more and more real the more I have them".
Mabel stroked Dipper's cheek.
"everyone is just another way that you could have died on one of our mysteries, my mysteries"
"they where our adventures if I didn't want to come I wouldn't have besides if I hadn't come on one or two who would have filled your life with silliness and charm?"
Dipper bit lip to stop himself from crying.
"I... just can't…"
"Live without me? Well good thing you won't ever have to I'm going to stay with you till the all the mysteries have been solved which will be, never".
Dipper smiled a tiny smile then leaned into Mabel's arms and wrapped his around her waist. Together they dropped back into Dippers bed and fell asleep, and had no nightmares for the rest of the night.
