A/N: Yeah, hi. For the people who know me already and are waiting for updates on my other stories, don't worry, they'll get done. The inspiration for this story came from us decorating our tree, and I was just thinking the whole time that I should do a one shot because I wrote maybe one chapter this month and that's really not good. But anyway, enjoy this Christmas-y one shot.

Disclaimer: If I owned this, I would still have it on Broadway. I would've bought the theater and never let it close.

"Collins, that doesn't go there!"

"How would you know? There's no blueprint when it comes to this!"

"But we always put it there!"

"Well, it's time to switch it up a bit! No day but today, right?"

"Oh that so does not work here, honey. That applies to life only."

"Ah, bah-humbug."

"Okay, Roger."

"I'm so telling him you said that."

"Whatever. Honey can you hand me that?"

"No. I'm putting it on."

"But—but—but I always get to put the star on!" Angel whined.

"Angel, it's a two foot hot pink tree." Collins saw the sort of wounded look on her face and handed her the star with a kiss. "Fine, but I'm taking a picture."

"You know you can't take pictures of angels! Haven't you ever seen 'The City of Angels?'"

"Nope, now smile!"

Angel gently set the star on top and there was a flash. She grinned and kissed Collins tenderly.

"Happy Anniversary, babe," she mumbled as rested her head on his shoulder.

He handed her a small box. She looked up at her boyfriend inquisitively.

"Open it! It's Christmas and our anniversary. If that's not enough, then you can wait until tomorrow," Collins said, reaching for the box. Angel pulled it back.

"Oh, no, it's already in my hands and you may never get it back."

I hope not.

Angel gasped as she opened the box and saw a diamond ring staring back. It was gold and had one larger stone set between two smaller ones with delicate gold webbing over them. Tears started to cloud her vision.

"I hope you didn't spend a lot on it," she whispered.

"No, it was my grandmothers. She always said to give it to a special girl someday. I don't think you were what she meant, but you're perfect. I want to ask you to be my wife, but since the state won't allow it, want to take a trip to Massachusetts after New Years?" Collins asked.

Afraid her voice would crack, Angel just nodded. Collins grinned and slipped the ring onto her left ring finger. She grabbed his head and kissed him deeply.

"Best Christmas ever," Collins whispered when they parted.

Please review, 'cause they feel like a Slip N Slide on a hot ass day. Refreshing.
