Fever

"The more you rest the sooner you'll recover and you can go back to training with your friends. I'm sure they're waiting for you to get better."
Aioria shifted his head slightly hearing a voice he thought was just from the fever endused half remembered dream he had.
Besides, there was no way that he could be here anyway.
Something cool pressed against his forehead and he was glad for it since he was burning up like no tomorrow. Whatever was making him sick was certainly doing its job well. His strength was weak, he was extremely tired, the fever was giving him hot and cold flashes and he could barely open his eyes.
Therefore he couldn't see who it was that was taking care of him right now.
He tried to move so he could try to force his tired eyes open to see who it was but his strength has failed him and he couldn't accomplish his task.
"Aioria, you know that you have to stay in bed until you're completely recovered. You'll only get worse if you keep moving around like that."
"I'm sorry." He muttered in a hushed tone.
"As long as you rest I won't worry. You pushed yourself too hard. You still need to know your limit Aioria. I know that I taught you that much."
"I remember..." Aioria whispered as the cool touch came back to his face.
"Good. Just rest now Aioria. I'll be watching over you."
"Aiolos..." Aioria whispered with a weak smile hearing his brother's voice.

The bedroom door closed as Milo left. He lightly shook his head at his friend's state.
Aioria must have been dreaming about when he was younger when Aiolos would take care of him when he was sick.
The first thing learned about Aioria when he was under the influence of a heavy fever was that he tended to hallucinate and often thought that someone was talking to him which would cause him to talk in his sleep.
He decided that he would fetch Mu who knew more about curing fevers than he did and it would give Aioria some time to be alone.

"Aiolos..." Aioria whispered with a weak smile hearing his brother's voice. "I miss you brother."
His hazy eyes finally opened enough to where he could see his brother's face looking down at him with a loving smile.
"I miss you too Aioria. Just remember that I'm always with you."
Aioria smiled more as he shut his eyes as he fell into a deep slumber.
Before he did he let out a weak chuckle and said. "I think Milo played another prank on you. Your wings are white instead of gold."
