As Tony sits down at his desk he notices a note in McGee's handwriting stating that Melinda had called about changing an appointment he groaned thinking of having to deal with her constant flirting. If he were straight it would be no big deal but as a NCIS agent and retired Marine he could not just go around telling people he was gay. While DADT had been repealed he still had to think of the homophobia in his current environment. Right as he boots his computer Gibbs shows up to tell them they have a body. After Ziva driving like crazy though the bad neighborhood they arrived at the scene to find a Marine hanging from the roof though the broken sky light. As we reach the roof I see a number that makes me realize that the secret I had carefully hidden from the team was coming out and there was no helping it as right there on the wall was my military id number. "Tim run the number it's a military id," stated Gibbs as he turned to Timothy McGee.
"No need boss I know whose it is," Tony said looking up from the camera he was using to take crime scene photographs.
"Well do you need an invitation to tell us who the hell it is?" Gibbs asked looking slightly pissed off.
"It is mine okay!" Tony shouted "I was in the Marines for five years before I was retired with a leg injury I could still be a cop but it was too dangerous for me to be on the front lines any more all those times I was getting together with my old frat brothers I was really meeting up with my old squadron they are all still in active duty so I don't get to see them very often."
"Since when were you a Marine DiNozzo," Barked Gibbs looking confused.
"Believe it or not Gibbs but there is a lot you do not know about me. Now as you can see there is a 'T' on the end of my id I only know two people who would write a 'T' on the end like that so excuse me I need to check on them." Tony then walked away to his car and drove away leaving the team to wonder where he was going and what all secrets his past held.
As the team collected evidence Tony was driving a couple blocks away were the one time love of his life and his love's mother lived. As he walked up a blur ran up to him and surrounded him in a warm hug full of love as he looked all he could so was the midnight black hair of Rose his love's mother. "Rose were you on the rooftop of a warehouse last night?"
"No why?" Rose asked confused picking up her head from his shoulder were it had landed during the hug while stepping back to be able to look him in the face.
"My military id number was found on a rooftop three blocks from here written in blood," Tony stated while looking her right in the eyes.
"I'm sure lots of people know your id number."
"Yes but only two add a "T" to the end."
"But if I was not there then… Oh my baby boy he has not been home in three days since he was leaving for Baghdad in a couple of days I figured he was just out celebrating his last days of freedom and saying his goodbyes before he left!" Rose worriedly exclaimed.
"I know you are worried Momma Rose but I will find him and bring him home okay?" Tony told her with a caring look on his face.
