Uryu watched Ichigo and Renji collapse on the ground beside each other. Aizen fell to the ground too and Uryu took all of his energy to remain on his feet. They had managed to do it though. The Quincy King lay dead on the ground, and the war was won. "ICHIGO!" Rukia, Orihime, Sado, and Ganju came charging in, running directly to their friend. All of them were a little worse for wear but they looked happy. Uryu smiled and turned to leave. He had no right to see them, not after everything that happened.

"Hey!" Uryu had just turned around in time for Renji's fist to collide with the side of his head. Uryu fell to the ground, choosing not to say a word. He had deserved that, he knew it. Renji then reached down and grabbed him by the front of his clothes, hauling him to his feet. "Get up." he ordered. Uryu didn't hesitate to do so. Then Rukia kicked him. Again he fell to the ground without making a sound. He knew he had that one coming as well.

"You idiot!" Rukia screamed at him. She looked like she wanted to hit him again, but Sado was holding her back. Orihime knelt down next to him, like she was checking to make sure he was alright.

"What the hell is wrong with you?! Why didn't you talk to us before you tried that stupid suicidal plan?!" Renji yelled. Uryu was confused now. He thought they were mad at him for betraying them.

"What?!" he asked.

"Orihime told me that you joined the Quincy's so you could destroy them from the inside! You could have died!" Rukia yelled.

"I thought we were all better friends than that!" Ichigo agreed. Uryu looked down.

"Stop." he said. They all looked at each other in confusion.

"Huh? Stop what?" Renji barked at him. Uryu clenched a fist. In the grand scheme of things he should have seen this. He had fought beside Ichigo multiple times, he had fought beside Sado and Renji both. He had spent a lot of time with both Rukia and Orihime. None of them were ever the type to just overlook that. Therefore there was no way they would just sever ties with him, even if it appeared he had betrayed them.

"I joined the enemy, I helped destroy the Seiretei! Don't forgive me and don't be nice to me!" he yelled at them. To his surprise they were all just smiling. It made him even more angry.

"You did it to avenge your mother and protect all of us." Ichigo said. Uryu scowled.

"My motives don't excuse my actions." he hissed. Orihime suddenly threw her arms around him, crying.

"Uryu, we were so worried about you! I'm just glad your safe and back with us." she said. Uryu looked down in defeat. Orihime was a person he could never say no to or get angry at.

"I'm sorry." he finally said. The others sighed, as if to say 'finally, that's all we wanted to hear.'

Kisuke, Yoruichi, and Nel stood watching them. Nel was supporting Yoruichi, who looked like she was on the verge of death. "Finally, it's all done." Kisuke said. Yoruichi nodded with a smile.

"Yeah...which reminds me..." she turned to Kisuke smiling the sweetest that he had seen from her in a long time. "You still have to pay for making me transform." she said. Kisuke turned pale.

Ryuken gave the smallest smile as he watched the friends before he turned to leave. "Really? That's all! You're not going to tell him how proud of him you are!? How you are glad he's alive?" Isshin asked from beside him. Ryuken scowled, lighting a cigarette.

"If you know all that then you can tell him yourself." he said turning to leave.

"What?! But it won't mean the same coming from me!" Isshin whined as he followed the elder Quincy away. He glanced back one last time to smile before following his long time friend away.

I don't like the idea that it ends after a ten year time skip. I wanted to see so much stuff resolved. Naruto did the same. However I support the writter to the end. I just wanted to do a little dabble of Uryu apologizing to the others and seeing how they took it.
