Concert's always give me that…thrill.

Especially if they're live, in front of millions of people.

Fortunatly for me, this concert was.

Pacing through my dressing room, I fidgeted with the belt loop on my shorts. Hatsune Miku, aka the most popular member of our little group, was almost finished with her fifth number. Yea, that's right, I said fifth. She's already sung five different songs, and I haven't even sung one! At least I have it better then Kaito and Meiko…they aren't even in the concert. Me and Len are lucky: we have the whole "cute twin," appeal thing going for us. Anyways, what was I saying again? Oh yea, so I was in my dressing room, anxiously waiting for my turn to make the fanboys squeal. I mean, come on, no mortal could possibly resist the power of my short shorts and giant white bow. The moe appeal of the two items is far too great! While I continued to think about how attractive I am (I'm not vain! I'm…I'm self-confident! Yea, that's it!) someone knocked lightly at my door. A middle aged man wearing a sunglasses indoors and a headset peered in. "Ms. Rin Kagamine, Hatsune Miku has finished her number. Your first song begins in 5." I looked over at him, nodding. Running over to my jumbo sized mirror, I did a quick hair-clothes-teeth check (HCT, for short), then walked out the door. The man who had come to retrieve me escorted me to a small door that led to underneath the stage. From there, I was told to crouch on a platform, at when the platform began to move upwards towards center stage, strike a pose and begin my performance. "Orange is in position. I repeat the orange is in position. All systems go," I heard the man say into his headset. Suddenly, I felt the platform jerk slightly, and I stood up, placing one hand on my hip and the other pointed up towards the ceiling.

It's show time.

The first notes for "I Like You, I Love You," began playing, and I changed position along with the beat. As soon as the beat picked up I started singing. This is what I had been waiting for. My time to shine. Don't you dare mess this up! I internally told myself. Swaying to the beat, I felt my bow bobbing along with me. It was reassuring, somehow. As the song's sweet melody played I felt…alive. Music was my life. Music is my everything. I live to create music. Finally, the song ended, and I winked at the audience before disappearing back into the stage

Len apparently saw me before I saw him, because before I had time to comprehend what was happening I was literally being strangled by a shota (trust me, it isn't the greatest feeling in the world) "Rin! You were great! Great!" he yelled as he continued to suffocate me. "Um, L-len!-choking!-off!" I managed to say. "Oh! S-sorry…" he blushed. Suddenly he jumped. Apparently he had just remembered we were in the middle of a very important concert. I love him to death, but Len can be such a scatterbrain sometimes. That is why I, Rin, must be a role-model! The big sister figure!...although I'll admit I have my moments too (Driving a giant road roller, running things over, feeling this amazing sense of "bitch, I own!" makes you feel so powerful! MWAHAHAHAHA!) Um…moving on…Len ran over to the platform I was just on, and hopped on. As he disspeared, "Fire Flower," his signature song, played. I smiled. This was how life should be. How concerts should be. How I wanted it to stay…forever. And no matter how many times Miku tops the charts, or how many times I barely miss messing up a song, or actually do mess up a song, I will always love singing. And being a Vocaloid.

Always.
