As Kaoru hid his hand under the pillow beside him for warmth, he felt something crumple at his touch.

Eh? What's this thing? Is it a flyer?

"Hikaru, what's a flyer doing under your pillow?" He asked his twin, still drowsy.

Hikaru didn't seem to hear him; Kaoru sat up a little and looked at his older brother, who was smiling in his sleep.

I wonder what he is dreaming about; it must be a nice dream… He smiled, as he thought to himself.

Kaoru sleepily retracted the flyer under Hikaru's pillow, and was about to put it aside when he realized that he flyer wasn't a flyer, it was an envelope.

Letter addressed to: Hitachiin Hikaru.

"Hikaru..what's this..?" Kaoru asked his brother. He shook the sleeping form beside him and prodded his shoulder, "Hikaru..Hikaru... Wake up...", but there was no reply. Hitachiin Hikaru was still in deep, peaceful slumber.

Kaoru gave up waking his brother up, and lifted the envelope cover that has already been opened. He took out the letter inside, and began reading, eyes now as huge as headlights.

Oh my God, his hands trembled as his brown eyes scanned through the letter.

Hikaru...!!!!!!

Hitachiin Kaoru dumped the letter on the floor and stood up, away from the bed, as he ran out of the room.

When Kaoru's shadow left the room, there was silence. Followed by the slight rumpling of the blankets, Hitachiin Hikaru opened his eyes finally, and the smile on his face vanished. His lips parted, as he mouthed the words,

"Sorry, Kaoru…"

Good morning my lovely brother, did you dream of me last night?" Hikaru chirped as he stroked his brother's cheek.

"Yeah, I had a dream of you last night…" Kaoru replied as he slowly sat up.

"Really? What sort of dream was that? Was it a bad dream? Your face looks so gloomy! What was the dream like?" Hikaru asked.

"..No, it was a nice dream. But I can't remember what happened in the dream…" Kaoru lied.

"I see, well, don't sweat over it. I had dreamt about you last night too."

"Hmm? What was the dream about?"

"I can't remember… too."

There was a moment of silence, Hikaru then got up and announced that he was going to prep up for school, "Kaoru, do you wanna join me in the shower?"

"No, later, I would still like to sit down for a while more." He smiled to his brother who was beginning to open the door to the bathing room.

"Ah, okay." Hikaru said softly, with his back turned to his younger brother.

When Hikaru left the room, Kaoru stared into the space for a while, and then, looking at his brother's pillow, he hesitantly lifted it up.

Maybe it really was just a dream… Please let it be a dream..

But he was disappointed as the letter he had discreetly slid back into place few hours ago was still apparent.
