To become allies- friends even- was never one of my aims.

When he was taken away, broken was my heart.

He wasn't as close to me, like Peeta or Gale
But when times were tough, he wouldn't fail.
He gave his life in dire need,
Those mutts will always haunt me indeed.

My sweet prim dear,
How I ache for her to be near.
Words cannot express how I still hurt.
I let her die- I should be the one buried in the dirt.

Kind of depressing, but it was horrible! Finnick and prim's deaths were the worst, I think. Maybe that's because they're still pretty fresh in my memories…how horrible. And yes, I know she still has peeta, but she doesn't love him. Maybe she did once, but she's too scarred now. and I really don't blame her. Review, everyone!
