This is my version of the Mortal Kombat series, mainly based on the edenian characters and Ermac as the main character. Ermac is one of my favourites, and I will try to include all my other favourites.
How it all began
In the dawn of time, a great war was brewed between the elder gods and the one being. The elder gods created the kamidogus, 6 mystical items which have won them the war against the one being. After their triumph, the one being was transformed into what is now the realms and began the age of mortal life. Each realm was determined by the creatures they have created. Earthrealm, dominated by humans, was the largest of the realms. Edenia was considered a paradise and inhabited by beings similar to humans but beyond them in some ways. Vaeternus is the homeland of the vampires, a race of being who live by draining the blood of other beings. These three realms were made as one, where as the rest were placed in other plains of existence. The Netherrealm is a world of fire and darkness, home of the demon race and final destination for all damned souls. Seido is the realm of order, rival with the chaosrealm. Finally, there is Outworld, ruled by the tyrant Emperor Shao Khan. As a ruler, he always had the desire to conquer all the other realms, by mystically merging them with Outworld. He succeeded in his first attempt with Vaeternus, but brought the attention of the elder gods. They did not stop Shao Khan from merging the other realms, but instead gave the other realms a chance to defend themselves from this fate, in a sacred tournament known as Mortal Kombat. After Vaeternus, Shao khan drew his attention to the next realm, Edenia. In the tournament, Outworld warriors must fight Edenian warriors once every 50 years, and if they win 10 tournaments in a row, Edenian will be merged with Outworld. Unfortunately, Edenian lost the 10 tournaments and was forced to merge. At that time, the realm was ruled by king Jarrod, with his Queen Sindel and his young daughter Princess Kitana. After the merging, Outworld forces attacked the realm and created a great carnage. King Jarrod ordered that his family and others who serve the kingdom would be sent to the safe haven, an enchanted location in the great Edenian forest build to hide the royal family, should the merging ever happen. Queen Sindel and Princess Kitana, along with others, managed to reach the safe haven, but king Jarrod remained to fight of the Outworld forces. He was never seen or heard from, his fate unknown. Princess Kitana was 500 years old, a 5-year-old by human standards, by the time of Edenia's conquest. She grew up in the safe haven with her 2 friends, Jade and Rain, and all 3 training in the art of combat. As a member of the royal family, Kitana was born with a supernatural power of the winds, and her combat training is focused on her power through her bladed fans. Jade is the daughter of the commander of the royal guards, so she was also born with a power that is focused on her weapon of choice, the staff. Rain was adopted by the military general of Edenia and for unknown reasons he was born with powers of water and lightning. Later on, a forth child joined the safe haven, Surken, a boy whose family was killed in the carnage while he ran and was found by one of the inhabitants of the safe haven. Surken grew up with Kitana and the others. He wasn't born with any power, but he still trained to be a skilled fighter. Six thousand years have passed, and the children are now in their teen years. They now use their skills in combat to fight against the rule of Shao khan, thus becoming the Edenian resistance. Please Review!
