Realising she was in love with Jack was the hardest thing Elizabeth had ever had to deal with. Half dead pirates and heathen gods she could cope with but this, finally acknowledging the fact there was a man that controlled her every emotion so that only he could make her laugh; could make her cry, was the very thing that shook her right to her very core.
Falling in love with him had seemed so easy she hadn't even noticed it happening. It seemed instantaneous now she looked back on it. The flash of gold in his crooked grin, the way his eyes lit up as he spoke of the sea, he very essence had captured her soul and she hadn't even batted an eyelid.
Then came a declaration of love from a boy up until then she had cared for like no then, a battlefield marriage on a storm-wrecked ship and here she was, stood on a beach with his heart in a box. Yet in the midst of utter despair realization hit her like a bullet.
It wasn't Will's face she wanted to see before her.
"one day you wont be able to resist…"
