Day twenty-two! Objection!
-:-
April May was beyond mad. She was furious. She was sitting here in jail all because that damn lawyer wouldn't mind his own business. Although, the lawyer wasn't the only one she hated at the moment. The pink-haired woman scowled as she thought of her previous employer.
"Stupid old man," muttered April. "All because of your damn ego."
She then shuddered and glanced around, fearing that Redd White was somehow listening in on her. She knew better than anyone what he was capable of and feared for her life.
"It's okay, April. He can't get you in here. He was found guilty of murder and sent to a maximum security prison," said April to herself to try and calm down.
She started to wonder what she did to deserve this. She didn't kill anyone, so why did she have to be punished? So what if she wiretapped that lawyer lady's office, she still wasn't the one to kill her. That was all White's doing.
April shuddered again. She needed to get out of here and move as far away as she could. No, she couldn't think like that. White was in prison.
Was in prison.
In prison.
Prison.
The thought kept echoing in April's mind and a deranged smile slowly made its way onto her face. That's right, White was in prison…for murder. He wouldn't last very long. Especially, the more April thought about it, he would soon get the needle.
She couldn't wait for that day to come.
CHAPTER END

To delve into the mind of an Ace Attorney character would make even Freud cry in agony.
