She woke up on a glass floor that was covered with latin writing in a grayish color. She started panting in fear when she realized she was in a small, glass cube with the same latin writing scrawled upon it. She got up and started pounding on the glass.

Girl: Help me! Help me,please!

A man about 28 or 29 in a orange jumpsuit, with dorky, clear glasses walked in. He was kind of handsome, she thought. She shook her head, snapping back into reality, and started punching the glass.

Girl: You! Please help me! Where am I?!

Man: Your in his house.

Girl: Who's?!

Another man walked in. Instead of a jumpsuit,he had a black, satin suit on. He looked older, and had black hair. He was hidious, the girl thought. She was zoning out, like she had always done as a child.

Man: Mine.

He smirked at her. She flashed him a death glare.

Man: Hello Helena. My name is Cyrus Kriticos. This is my assistant,Dennis Rafkin.

Helena looked over at Dennis.

Cyrus: Well, aren't you a pretty one?

Helena: Watch it bitch,I'm married.

Despite her age of being 21,she was married to a man,Jack Davis. He was 26. She had met him in college when she was 20. They got married after a year of dating. He became an abusive drunk, making new bruises on her body every night. She had no way out of her marriage. If she wasn't home,Jack would become pissed. She was sure she would get a beating when she got home. IF she got home.

Helena: You have to let me go. My husbands going to kill me.

Cyrus looked at Dennis shocked, then looked at the frightened, nervous Helena who was still stuck behind the glass. Cyrus pulled Dennis out of room, although she could still see them outside the room fighting and yelling. The whole house was glass, she realized. She hadn't noticed until now. The two men walked back in.

Cyrus: Dear,I'm afraid you still think your alive.

Helena's eyes widened. She kept her hands pressed up against the glass.

Helena: What? What the hell are you talking about?

Cyrus: You have joined the after-life. And soon, the others will join you in your new home.

The two men turned around and started to walk out,but Dennis stayed behind.

Helena: Wait!

She was on the urge of tears. Dennis turned to her.

Helena: What do you mean? How am I dead?

Dennis: Your husband killed you. Last night. He strangled you while you were asleep.

She stared at him. He walked out of the room. Taking in everything he had just said, she started to pant in fear.

Helena: No! No! Please!

She found herself on the floor, pressed into the corner of her cube tightly. She dug her nails into the glass that were on her sides in anger. She kept screaming "No!" and sobbing. She snapped her eyes shut.

Helena: This is a dream. Please let this be a dream. Let me wake up.

But instead of waking up in her room at her house, she only saw the glass cubes around her. Except they weren't empty like they were when she first woke up,they were filled with ghosts. All of them were covered in blood. She couldn't believe this was actually happening. In the cube next to hers, was a teenage-looking boy. One side of his body was kind of normal looking, but the other was mutilated and torn apart. He looked at her,and smirked.

Boy: Hello.

Helena put her hands to her face, and screamed from the fear that overwhelmed her.
