Chapter 1-Awakenings & Aliens
I was sleeping when it happened. It was perfectly quiet throughout the apartment. We were the only ones on the second floor. I was the only one home, too. I probably wouldn't have heard it if it wasn't for my iPod dying. The noise was like a helicopter landing outside my window and the lights were so bright I thought a truck was going to blow through my wall. I awoke and I was not happy. When I looked out my window I couldn't believe my eyes. There, right there, was an alien in the lot next door talking to a robot! I was so shocked. I grabed my video recorder. "Oh man!" I said to myself," This is going to make Darek have a heart attack!"
