I couldn't believe that I haven't yet done a Malec fanfic because they are so adorable. This one is just a short one but it has lots of fluff. I hope you enjoy. Please let me know what you think.

Always and Forever

"Thank you," Alec smiled as Magnus passed him a glass of wine and they kissed quickly.

"I thought we'd have an evening in tonight," Magnus told Alec, as he took a sip from his glass. "Just have a quiet night for once."

"Oh..." Alec said, looking apologetic. "I'm going to the cinema with Izzy this evening, I did mention it this morning." Magnus' face fell, inside he was really grinning. He had called Izzy the previous week to make sure they would be going to the cinema tonight, he had just needed to check that it was still going to happen. Nerves started to flutter in his stomach.

"Don't worry," Magnus smiled. "I'm sure I have some book somewhere in the apartment to entertain myself with."

"Maybe tomorrow?" Alec asked and Magnus nodded.

"When are you going out?" Magnus asked. He knew how long the film they were going to see was, but he didn't know the time they were going and if he was going to pull this all off he'd need as much time as possible.

"Six," Alec told him. "I was just gonna have a shower and grab something to eat before I went out." Magnus nodded.

A few hours later

Be out in a minute, Alec's just using the toilet. Magnus smiled as he read the text from Izzy. It was now or never. He reached into his magic and drew out enough strength to do what he needed. He pointed his hands to the building opposite the cinema. He had made sure all the lights were switched off beforehand so it was clear what was lit up on the side of it. He smiled as he saw Alec walk out of the cinema and saw the lights forming writing.

Alexander Lightwood, will you marry me? ~M. XXX

"How did he?" Alec whispered before spotting Magnus. "Magnus!" He cried, running over, Izzy grinning close behind him. "You did this for me?" He asked and Magnus nodded, to nervous to speak.

"This is the part where you say yes," Izzy hissed and Alec laughed slightly.

"You don't have to," Magnus said quickly.

"But I want to," Alec told him, running into his arms and kissing him. "I want to spend my whole life with you. I want to be with you, always and forever."

"And I with you," Magnus replied, holding out the ring he had been keeping in his pocket and sliding it onto Alec's finger. "Always and forever."
