Title: Desiring Susan Bones

Characters/Challenge: Justin Finch-Fletchley/Susan Bones (one-sided), "I never" challenge.

Authors Note: This was written within 30 minutes and I have to say that I'm rather pleased with it. :)

It wasn't as though he was jealous.

No, sir! He was a respectable gentleman, raised by the most wealthy of parents. And, well, Finch-Fletchley's just didn't get jealous. Especially of their best friends who were lucky enough to find that special one. That girl. Even if that girl was the one he desired most in the entire universe.

But still, was it really fair to him to have to watch her put her hand on his best mates hand and giggle, twirl her silky red hair around her nimble fingers, flutter those long eyelashes of hers? It had been torture to watch her do this to every guy she came across. Ever guy but him. And quite frankly, it made him feel sick to the stomach with jealousy pulsing in his veins.

She was ignorant of his affections for her. Either that, or she just didn't care. He didn't understand - wasn't every teenage girl looking for love which could be easy returned? He would return it more than Ernie would. But no, he wasn't "man" enough to be her bloke. He was, according to Megan, that bloke who was so uptight that a broomstick didn't even fit up his arse.

All he wanted was to be able to touch her for once. And was that really too much to ask? He wanted to cup her face in his palm, lower his lips to hers and taste the sweetness of her full lips. He wanted to be able to run his thumb down the side of her cheek and make her close her eyes, instead of her catch of the week. He just wanted her.

But no matter how hard he tried, he was always the one she never saw.
