"I'll be running out for a few hours, you two behave," Hermione hastily packed her wallet into her handbag and kissed her son, Scorpius, who was sitting at the table doing homework.

"We're always good." her husband, Draco Malfoy complained, "Honestly, 'Mione, it's only a few hours. Go enjoy yourself. I can watch Scorpius. Besides, he's not a baby. He's 6."

Hermione tossed another look at her son, as if willing him to shove his homework aside and beg to go with his mother. Instead, he looked up from his work with his soft brown eyes he inherited from her.

"It's okay, Mommy. I gots to stay here and finish my homework."

Hermione bit her lip thoughtfully for a moment. "Oh…alright. I'll be back before dark. If you need anything, you know you can call my cell?"

"Like I'll ever figure out how to use that infernal muggle contraption." Draco rolled his eyes, "I'll just send a messenger owl."

"Draco."

"Kidding, kidding. Now run along, you can't keep the Weaselette waiting any longer."

Hermione rolled her eyes and kissed her husband goodbye and ruffled her son's hair.

"Alright, alright. Well, remember-behave." She stepped into the fireplace and flooed to Diagon Alley where she was due to meet Ginny.

After a while, Scorpius finished his homework.

"Daddy, I'm bored. Can we…can we do," he dropped his voice to a whisper, "the thing?"

Draco, who had been pretending to read the newspaper, eagerly put it down.

"I thought you'd never ask. Come, let's go. To the kitchen!"

Scorpius eagerly followed his father into the kitchen. Draco pulled his wand from his pocket and waved it in the air, summoning a trombone and two pairs of sunglasses. He put one pair on and Scorpius eagerly plucked his pair from the air and put them on.

"Are you ready, Scorp?"

"Yeah! Let's start Daddy!"

With a wave of Draco's wand, the trombone began playing a tune and Scorpius began opening and shutting the oven to the beat.

"Yeah, Scorp. You have a really good memorization of beat."

Scorpius grinned and Draco began changing the melody, with Scorpius changing his beat accordingly. The father-son duo lost track of time and didn't even hear the floo and see Hermione, cradling shopping bags, walk into the room with a look of disbelief and exasperation on her face.
