Okay, a) this has probably been done in some form or fashion and b) I know, Robin and Raven had their little moment by the window after all the mayhem, but this is something I could just see in my mind's eye, happening the night after End of the World Part III. I hope you enjoy :)

Raven looked up from her book upon hearing a knock at the door.

'Hey, Rae, can we... talk for a second?' Robin's voice.

'Come in.' What could this be about? she wondered briefly, but she knew. It could only be about one thing. The end of the world—which they had, miraculously, just postponed. She marked her place in her book, closed it, and set it down, turning around to see her spiky-haired friend at the door. He leaned against the wall, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.

'That was... pretty amazing. What you did. Saving the world and everything.' he said.

'All in a day's work.' Raven joked in reply, a slight smirk on her face.

'It must have been hard.' Robin's throat caught. 'To face... him down like that.'

'What's important is that I did it.'

'Yeah.' Wordlessly, Robin came over and sat next to Raven on the edge of her bed. They remained in silence for a while.

'Thank you.' Raven whispered.

'No, I should be thanking you.' Robin protested.

'I couldn't have done it without you. Your help. You gave me the courage to stand up to my—Trigon—and take him down.' She let the side of her little finger touch Robin's on the bed between them, gently. Robin took her hand in his.

'What's important is that he's gone. For good now, right?'

'Yeah.'

'And that...' Robin trailed off, looking away from her. 'And that we're together. Again.'

'For good.' He looked into her eyes and she gave him a smile, which he returned, squeezing her hand. He stood up and stretched.

'You know Starfire wants to celebrate.' he said, coaxingly.

'There's nothing in this galaxy or the next that she wouldn't.' Raven pointed out.

'Come on. It's your birthday and the cake's already made. What do you say?' Robin now stood in the open doorway, and Raven could hear sounds of jubilance from a distance. She stood.

'I guess I can make an exception. Just this once.' She said, and followed Robin toward the rest of their team.
