"This is going to be a disaster. Something is going to go wrong, I just know it." Apollo groaned.

Apollo and Hyacinthus stood outside of the home that Apollo's Mother Leto lived in. Apollo was delaying knocking on the door.

"Oh, honestly! It can't be that bad." Hyacinthus muttered before reaching past Apollo and knocking.

"Oh, trust me. It is. My family is insane." Apollo said as the door opened. The woman in the door smiled.

"I resemble that remark! Now I know I said it would just be Your sister, you, your friend, and Myself, but Hermes decided to drop in. He's such a SWEET boy. Now, who's your friend, Apollo?" Leto grinned as she shooed them inside.

"Mommy, Artemis, Hermes, I'd like you all to meet Hyacinthus; He's my boyfriend."

Hermes gasped. "Oh, Little Apollo is all grown up!" he cried out in exaggerated shock. Artemis snickered at Apollo's dark look.

"One of these days, Brother mine, I swear that I'm going to HURT you!"

"Now, now, dear. That's not nice. And there will be plenty of time for that after dinner. Isn't that right?"

"Yes Mom." Was the answer Leto got. Hyacinthus watched this all with an amused smiled on his face. It was nice to be in the company of such a loving family.

"Mom? There's something I need to ask you." Apollo said while helping top see the table. (He always was a Mommy's boy.)

"Go ahead dearie."

"You didn't even blink when I told you Hyacinthus was my boyfriend. Wouldn't you normally be a bit...shocked?"

Leto laughed and ruffled Apollo's golden hair, making it stick up. "I've known this day was coming for a long time. I've had time to prepare for it."

"Known it for a long time? I don't understand...." Apollo looked so very confused, and Hyacinthus couldn't help but smile.

"Honey, Why do you think all your affairs with those...ladies....never worked out? Obviously you've always preferred your own gender." Here Artemis and Hermes began laughing hysterically. ("Was he the only one who didn't know?!" Artemis shrieked.) "It's really alright. I've resigned myself to never having any grandchildren and....Oh, Apollo honey, please don't bang your head on the wall." He didn't listen.

"He's going to break the wall down! Everyone out!" Hermes howled in laughter.

Hyacinthus just shook his head and began calculating how many painkilling roots he'd have to find. Apollo was going to have a VERY big headache.
