If he did truly love me, wouldn't he be with me already? The green-haired mew thought as she cleaned a table her gorgeous boss had asked her to clean. She knew that thinking of him wouldn't do anything about her feelings for him. She yearned for the day he would hold her in his arms and tell her that he loved her and not her best friend. Yet, this, would never happen she thought.

"Lettuce?" A deep, beautiful voice called her. She turned around and looked at the beautiful blonde standing in front of her.

"Y-Yes Shirogane-san?" She stuttered. The blonde looked at her and sighed. Did I do something wrong? Why does he look so nervous…?

"I…I need advice." He said.

"Okay then…" Lettuce replied.

"Well, you see, there's this girl I really…love." He said. Lettuce frowned. Her heart felt as if it had been hammered. She knew who this girl was.

"I think I know who this girl is…" Lettuce said, sadly. Ryou blushed deeply.

"You do?!" he asked hoping she didn't mean it."I mean you do?"

"Yes…It's…it's...its Ichigo-san isn't it…?"She said, hurt.

"Why do you think it's Ichigo?" Ryou asked, a bit of anger in his words.

"Well, you flirt with her and tease her…It's obvious you like her!" she said, crying.

"Lettuce…don't cry…I don't love Ichigo. She whines too much." He said comforting her.

"Then it's Zakuro-san for sure!" She cried more.

"No it's not Zakuro. She's not my type." He said, waiting for her to say the right mew mew.

"Minto-san then!" She said, getting a bit frustrated.

"Not her either. She's to…spoiled." He said.

"Don't tell me it's Pudding-san! She's too young!" she said frightened.

"That's why it's not her! Lettuce…I don't love any of them!" He said.

"Then who is it?!" She asked, tears flowing down her cheeks. She knew that her crying was worthless, but she still couldn't help but feel the hurt this was causing her. "Who is it Shirogane-san!? Who is i-!" a pair of lips suddenly stopped her. Lettuce, surprised, blushed when she knew it was Ryou who was kissing her. Ryou then broke free for air. He cupped her face in his hands and looked at her in her eyes.

"I love YOU, Lettuce." He said. Lettuce began sobbing..

"I love you too Shirogane-san!!!" She said throwing her arms around him. He held her in his arms, cherishing the beautiful moment. He finally had someone to love. After the lost of his parents, the rejection of Ichigo, and the lost of all hope, Ryou had finally found someone who loved him that he loved as well. He brushed her cheek and kissed her lightly on her lips. Lettuce, in response, blushed but kissed him back. They didn't care about anything around them. They just kissed and held each other in each other's arms. They finally had someone to love and be with.
