Notes: Takes place sometime during Ed Green's tenure as junior partner. Written for the "Snowball" drabble challenge and the Law & Order 100 LJ community.
"Liz, we can talk about this."
"No, we can't, Lennie. You've had this coming since February."
Dr. Rodgers had a very long memory.
It had been a joke at the time; Ed had teased him about his aim, and he, to prove his eye and hand were accurate as ever, had aimed a snowball at Rodgers' parka.
He'd made his point, but now he had to answer to a grim-faced ME with a fistful of snow.
Maybe if he made a break for the precinct door –
But Rodgers caught him square in the face before he could make a move.
