Just… not too absurd, please (alright, I'm gonna say it now. I refuse to write twincest… or incest of any form (not really including Mephisto and Amaimon)… yaoi and that jazz is fine, though). summary: He promised to take her back. He just didn't think they'd be more than friends.

Many months ago, Rin promised Shimei that he'd take her to the amusement park again (only as friends, of course).

For awhile, he almost thought he'd never get to fulfill that promise because she decided to avoid him after he revealed he was the son of Satan (but in his eyes, it was all Amaimon's fault).

But, lo and behold, she'd ended up reconciling with him.

(Thank god for that.)

And now, they were climbing to the top of the world, just the two of them on Sir Pheles' Ferris wheel.

He watched as her eyes grew wide with excitement as the climbed higher, and found that he smiling when she clapped her hands together in sheer happiness, her eyes twinkling when she could see the very top of True Cross Academy.

She gasped as they finally reached the top of the Ferris wheel.

"Oh, Rin, it's so beautiful up here!" she gasped. She pressed her face against the window as they began to descend.

And several hours later, when he walked her back to her home (hand in hand, mind you), she said, "Thanks, Rin."

He felt his face become warm and mumbled a "no problem."

Many months ago, he promised to take her back to the amusement park.

He didn't think that when he did, it would be as a date.
