(I own only Siren. I own no part of Zelda) Cold Winter Night Link X Siren

A cold wind bellowed through the tattered remains of the Hyrule flag. Trailing its way through the ruins of the once proud castle. Link stood atop a collapsed hill that was once the very same gate he had climbed over to see Zelda. It still haunted the recesses of his mind, the fact that Hyrule was gone. Crumbled to mere shambles, to only be a skeleton of a once flourishing town.

Link hopped down from the hill and started off to the broken entrance bridge. But he stopped. He felt a gentle rustling in the ground below him. He stood still for a long while, the ground still churning beneath him as he questioned what it could be. And then suddenly the dirt erupted, and Link was sent barreling backwards. He grunted slamming hard against the stump of a tree and laid still.

Rubbing his head, he slowly opened his eyes. A dark, slender shadow towered over him. A groan, a cold glare. Link shocked, clawed at the ground for something to quickly attack the withered figure in front of him. And to his luck, just inches from his finger tips was a good sized rock he could of smashed the things head in with. If only he could reach it. Struggling to stretch out for the rock, Link was oblivious to the ever approaching creatures around the area. The shriveled creature lurched forward, and pinned Link to the ground. Link let out a scream, as he struggled to keep the creatures face away from his body.

"No!" Link groaned as the creature broke through his defense and fell to his neck.

Just as the thing was about to bite, a large yellow arrow penetrated its wood like skull, and nailed it to the ground. Link looked over the body that laid on him, and saw a slender boy standing on the very same hill Link had just jumped off of. "Quickly! It isn't safe!" The boy hollered, and ran off in lightning speed.

Crimson eyes, and turquoise hair with lavender wings to match. Link pushed the slump of withered flesh off his body and stood up, with a puzzled expression on his face. Who had just saved him, was it a friend or was it an enemy. Link was never one for friends. So it must of been an enemy. Link drew the master sword from his back, and readied his shield. Whoever it was, wasn't going to fool him.
