Hi Their Lovelies! My name is Kokoro Tanaka I am 20 years old and have been living on my own for the last couple of years. I aged out of foster care never being adopted because of my horrid social skills and medical issues…..
Whoa hold on their reader… wait you thought this was a story about the strong, brave yet baby-like sailor moon? Well we will get to her here in a bit but for me to get to her part of the story you need to hear my side first.
Cuz if it wasn't for her I might have lived. But again, we will get to all that, first things first though; let me tell you a little about me and my story.
Let's start at the beginning, well at least as far as I can remember. I guess you could call me an amnesiac. I don't really remember anything past 15 years old. Weird, right? Waking up in a hospital bed your arm and head wrapped in bandages the doctor asking if you could remember anything. The only thing I could remember was a name Kokoro Tanaka. I assumed that was who I was. All I had was the clothes on my back, a couple hundred dollars in my pocket and that name written on a piece of paper. I took that since I wasn't about to be called "Jane Doe" or "Hun" another second by a nurse or doctor.
The doctor said that it was common for memory loss with the type of head injury I sustained. Sucks I don't remember and since I didn't they put my papers and picture in a file and sent me off to foster care. Every day I hoped that I had a family out there looking for me. But again, I learned quick after the first home I went to that I was on my own. I continued from house to house over the years, got a few part time jobs along the way but I couldn't keep my head down. I got into a couple fights… okay, okay more than a couple I admit it I have a temper, I'm not a huge people person.
Still, I never got adopted. After my accident I started having headaches, bad dreams, and panic attacks. Families said I was too much of a handful so I was always sent back to group homes until I turned 18 and aged out. I was so happy to be out of the system, I found a steady part time job at a small café, got myself an apartment and here we are.
Were shit finally started hitting the fan. So let's begin here to the first day I encountered him….
