A tribute to the Skaters
Adapted from Underneath the Sky by Oasis
Underneath a palm-tree shade
Is a sassy reader sleeping alone
He wants no friends, uses a fake name
And his troubled past is sort of unknown
All he needs is really to find his place
But he grieves on a letter to send
And as he drinks to himself, accusing himself,
Wondering the why, he killed the wrong guy, is James
So, running away from an untold shame
Being caught and escorted on a plane
She will get her way smart, make a brand new start
Stopping making sense once again
All she cares about is a suitcase
A toy plane that belonged to a friend
And as she's blaming herself, crying to herself
Wondering the why, she got killed the guy, is Kate
All they need is a hike in the forest
And a silly college drinking game
And as they drink to themselves, they reveal themselves,
Wondering the why, they look so alike, again
