Prologue 1

During the time when Ichika Orimura was discovered to be the only male IS pilot, that wasn't the only major event. Two years later, the announcement of "Chromal-Cores" was announced. These cores were different from Black Boxes Tabane Shinono used in her IS. These were better cores which allowed for more "Configurations," or forms to be fit on a single device. These cores meant a new chance for the market, but the problem was they were hard to manufacture, and even harder to manipulate.

Aside from the discovery of Chromal-Cores, "Godbornes" from "Dreamscape" were discovered as well. They were from a world similar to Earth, yet they possessed far greater technology and abilities. Yet on Earth, or in the "Fair World" as they called it, their powers were rendered useless and they were known as they were previously before they entered Dreamscape.

With these new discoveries, the world would never be the same.
