Just a random poem I wrote while I was away. Hope you like it. (It's my first fanfic poem, and I'm not a great poet, so... Yeah. :P)

An honest smile,

a caring touch,

eyes both deep and pure,

all shadowed by a down-turned face as it looks away, unsure.

A steady arm,

a well-placed step,

a strength in times of need,

but the strong step falls to walk behind, lets others take the lead.

A sun-kissed cheek,

a regal form,

in his eye a youthful ray,

but each time the eye beholds the glass,in shame, it turns away.

A sharpened wit,

the swiftest thought,

a mind beyond compare,

but the flood of brilliance this mind holds back, leaves others unaware.

A small boy's trust,

a young girl's hope,

a woman's longing heart,

but he does not see their loving gaze for the fears that can't depart.

A puzzling life,

a cup of tea,

the hat upon his head,

all mark the under-confident, marred by the words that someone said.

Part of me hates that last bit (I feel like it sounds too cheesy), but... whatever. I don't know why Professor's always been so unsure, so... I decided to make up a cliche reason. (Half of this was based off of young Hershel, by the way.)

Thanks for reading!

God bless!
