"Natsu, I must speak with you."
Mira was cleaning one of the glasses at the bar when she heard Erza speak up.
She saw Natsu and Happy stiffened in fear as the knight approaching. "What happened Gray did it!" he shouted suddenly.
"Calm down, Natsu," Erza said. "I'm not here to punish you." With that, Natsu relaxed.
"So what is it, Erza?" Natsu asked.
And to Mira's surprise, Erza had a hint of red on her face.
'Erza's blushing? But why?'
"Natsu, we've known each other for a while, yes?" Erza said.
"Yeap," Natsu nodded.
"From what I heard, you were scary back then," Happy inputted.
"I've… been good for you, right?"
"I guess," Natsu frowned. "You did teach me to read. Even if you tortured me to." He added the last part in a whisper.
"And you've always been there for me. Like during the Tower of Heaven."
"Hey, I'd do the same for any of my nakama's." Natsu said with a smile.
"That's why," suddenly Erza's face was completely red. "That's why…"
'Is Erza about to ask Natsu, out?' Mira thought as she leaned forward to the scene. 'I knew that they were close, but I thought it was cause they were just good friends! This will ruin all of my shipping!'
"I want you to call me Nee-san!"
Mira blinked as she returned to her sense. Erza's face was now matching her hair, and Natsu and Happy were blinking in confusion.
"Wait, nee-san?" Natsu repeated. "Isn't that what Sho and Kagura call you? Why would I call you that?"
Erza's jaw dropped before she composed herself. "Well, why not. I've always treated you like my little brother. I've cleaned you, taught you to read…"
"Are you sure you weren't trying to kill me then?" Natsu asked, only to swallow when Erza's glared at him.
"I figured I must have been a good big sister, at least as good as Mira."
Alright, Mira will let that slide. Right now she's enjoying this adorable scene.
"I guess you were an awesome sister," Natsu admitted. "I never had a sister. I had brother, but he went crazy and tried to kill all of us…"
"I assure you that if you die I won't bring myself to insanity trying to bring you back to life and thus be cursed as Zeref has."
"Okay! Thanks, Er- err, Nee-san."
A large smiled crossed the Titania's faces as her eyes glowed with joy that never in Mira's life has she seen. "Thank you, Natsu-toutou!"
"Please don't call me that, Nee-san."
"Hey, guys!" Lucy said as she came over.
"Hey, Lucy!" Natsu and Happy said.
"Lucy, you're here, excellent!" Erza said as she grabbed onto the blonde's hands. "Lucy, we've known each other for a while, yes?"
What'd you think? I actually came up with this will on Quora. Long story short, I got this question that asked when will Erza pop the question to Natsu. In my trolling ways, I decided to take the question as "Will Erza pop the question to Natsu about calling her Nee-san?" And then this fic came. I hope I didn't offend any Natza shippers.
