(A/N: Somewhat pointless, but I thought it would be cute)

I woke up with a start. I had been dreaming of Sasuke leaving again. It was all in the past, but it was still enough to make me sad. I turned over and tried to get back to sleep, but wasn't able to. 'This calls for Hot Chocolate', I thought. I got up out of our queen-size bed and walked toward the stairs. I passed the room with the word "Mei" written in crayon on it and smiled. I got to the stairs and walked down and into the kitchen, getting the cocoa mix out from the cupboard. As I poured some into a pot and put it on the counter, I heard the muffled sound of two feet in the hallway. I turned around and saw my five-year-old daughter Mei in the doorway.

"We couldn't sleep!" She proclaimed. Then she gasped. "You're making Hochokulit? Why didn't you tell me!" She said, seeing the box on the counter. She walked over to me and I lifted her onto the counter so she could see.

"So", I asked, "What do you mean 'We' couldn't sleep?" She looked up at me with her big green eyes-My eyes-and said

"Me, Kum-e-o, and Oakeyki!" She pointed to each of her bunny slippers in turn.

"That makes sense. Sweetie, would you please get two mugs from the cupboard? The one above your head?" She nodded, her blue-black hair shaking in her face. I stirred the hot chocolate as she handed the mugs to me.

Once we both had our cocoa, we sat down at the table. She took a sip of cocoa and it spilled on her pink nightgown emblazoned with the Uchiha fan and, now, a chocolate stain. Mei looked up at me with a weird smile and said

"I had the weirdest dream. Will you write it in my dream journal?"

I smiled and said "Sure, go get it."

She just looked at me and said "Kum-e-o has it." She removed her left slipper and pulled a battered old journal out. Her Father and I had gotten it for her when she was three. She saw mine and wanted her own. I took the book from her as she pulled the slipper back onto her foot.

"So what did you dream?"

"Well, I was on this cliff-"

"Do you want me to write it like you say it?"

"Yes. So, anyway, I was on this cliff holding a fan like this." She pointed to her nightgown "And I was waving it like this." She waved her hand that wasn't holding cocoa back and forth in the air. "And then there was birdies everywhere!!! It was a very weird dream." She nodded her head to show how weird it was.

"That's all?"

She paused."No Mommy, there's a next part. I was in a cave thing, fighting someone who looked like white and purple and had a tongue Thi-i-i-i-is long!" She held out her arms to show how long.

I coughed, almost spilling my cocoa. "Continue." I choked out.

"Well, then, he...she...it grabbed someone who looked sorta like a littler Daddy, and sorta like a older Kaseo." Kaseo is her nine year old brother.

"Then?" I asked. I tried to sound patient, but was actually very eager to her more.

She frowned. "And then I was falling. Fast, like WHOOSH!!!! It was very weird..."

"Yes, very weird..." So, she dreamed about Orochimaru...I'd have to tell Sasuke tomorrow..

"Mommy?" I looked up at Mei. "Yeah?" "I love you." She pushed herself off her chair, walked over to me and kissed me on the cheek. "I'mana go to sleep now, Mommy. You should too." And with that, she walked away. I heard her run up the stairs and put the hot chocolate away.

After that I walked up the stairs and into Mei's room and called softly "You awake, sweetie?" No response. I walked over to her bed and looked at her. I giggled slightly as I saw her slippers were still on. I removed them and placed them by her bed. I leaned down, kissed her on the cheek and whispered "Good night." I walked back to my room and lay down. As I smelled the air, I realized that, now, the room smelled like Hot Chocolate. Savoring the smell, I closed my eyes, and fell asleep...
