It was an early sunny day in May and that meant that summer was officially here. Most of the Jeffersonian team were lazily doing paperwork and cataloguing evidence up on the platform and they were just looking for any excuses to get out of doing the dreaded work. There was a heat wave a few days prior and it seemed that all the murderers had taken off early for the summer.

Brennan was in her office writing chapters for her new book when all of a sudden her phone rang. "Brennan" she answered, while holding the phone in place with her shoulder as she continued typing. "Hey Bones, I m bored. Wanna go to the diner?" Brennan had to hold back a laugh at his childish tone "Sure, you gonna come pick me up?" she asked "Don t I always?" he replied with a charm smile on his face that was so apparent that Brennan could practically sense it through the phone "See you in ten!" he said and with that he hung up the phone.
Brennan Closed down the computer and gathered her things. For some reason that she couldn't understand, she got a tingle in her belly. Recently when she was spending time with Booth, She felt this feeling but she could normally just brush it off- But not today.

Booth drove over to the Jeffersonian with a huge grin on his face. As he passed through the lab doors, He saw Angela and he gave her a wave and a smile. She gave a gesture for him to go over to her office and he gladly did- nothing could bring his mood down today. Angela gave him a hug "Good morning Booth" she said happily "Heya Angela" he replied "Why are you so happy today?" she asked him and he turned around, closed the door and turned back round to face her. "Well Angela" he said "I have decided that today is the day" She gave him a quizzical look and raised her eyebrow "The day for what?" she asked confused "Today is the day I tell bones everything" he said with a big grin plastered on his face "She already knows everything about you Booth, Probably even more than you know about yourself" Angela replied "Well Angela, think about something that everybody knows except Bones and a little hint is that it has to do with me and her" Booth stifled a laugh at the look of concentration on her face and he could pinpoint the exact moment that she figured it out. Just as Angela was about to talk to Booth about it, He slipped out the office door and headed towards his lovely Bones.

When Booth got to Brennan s office, He took one little moment at the doorway to just look at her, while he went unnoticed because she was reading an article in an anthropology journal. "Hey Bones" he said. Brennan jumped at his voice, she'd been so pre-occupied with the article that she had been reading that she hadn't seen or heard him. "Heya Booth" she said with a smile as she got up and headed to the door. Just as she was about to walk out the door, Booth pulled her arm back, twisted her around and kissed her passionately.
