A tall man with dark hair was seen, sitting in an office chair in semi-dark room.
"Excuse me?" I said quietly. No reply. "Sir?"
He looked up. "Yeah?"
I adjusted my sweater nervously. "I'm agent DeAqua, um...Mr. Skinner said to ask you about um--" I stuttered, "H--he said to come down here to, uh, t--tell you I was here...?"
He looked up at me, I was becoming nervous, most usually I can read peoples faces quite easily, usually either they said what a wimp! or weirdoooo... but his face was as
blank as a fresh exam paper.
"You're the one they sent to help us with this case?" He said, standing slowly. I hadn't realized how tall he was, normally to me EVERYONE seems tall, but this dude had to be around 6'2.
"I-I'm um, well my paperwork..." Saving me, a red-headed woman about my height stepped in through the open door.
"Sorry I'm late Mulder, traffic."
My eyes widened, I hadn't really made the connection yet, I knew I would be working with him, but I hadn't realized this tall, toned, monotonus man was Fox Mulder (AKAto the girlsSexy Spooky).
Realizing that the woman was eyeing me, I offered a hand. "Larissa DeAqua, Zoologist and a special agent in sector 9-1D."
She raised an eyebrow. "Scully." She shook my hand. Becoming more friendly now that there was a woman in the room (plus my 3 cups of espresso in the Assistant Director's office were starting to kick in) I offered a smile. It was hesitantly (and nearly fakely) returned by agent Scully.
"I have a couple of slides from the case," I offered. Their silence was deafening! I had thought I hated the noise at the college, but this was MUCH worse than a midnight beer-party upstairs, this was a 'I would rather be working on a parking ticket chiff than be in this silence!' kind of silence.
Mulder walked over to me expectantly, and suddenly, I noticed something I hadn't before, his eyes were an intense, weep-your-heart-out blue.
He leaned down, but suddenly, I was gone or--no...I was Scully, under Mulders intense, wonderful gaze, his lips slowly met mine and a spark of magic was passed through all existence, the spark only ever heard of in childrens stories, he pulled away and looked at me...those eyes...
