You Won't Find This

"You know what Cal?"

"What?"

"You can go and hold on to any girl that you'd like. You can go and love her, but you will always wonder why she isn't something better... close is all there will be because you won't find me."

He stared at her and ran a hand through his hair. "Gillian."

"No matter what you do and who you find... she will never be me and she will never be the satisfication that you need. Go ahead and leave, but don't pack too much because I know that you will come back."

"But..."

She stared at him - knowing that she was being a little full of herself, "You are going to wake up at night with her in your arms and wonder whats missing... and I know what will be. Me. We have loved eachother from the start. Don't leave know because you and I both know that you won't go far."

He turned around and walked out. Before she could say anything else he was in his car and dissapearing down the street.

.:.

"Why didn't I listen to you?" He asked, walking in the door ten minutes later.

"Because you don't like being proved wrong." She walked over to him and took his hand.

"Go ahead." He whispered.

"I told you so."

He smiled and kissed her and after a couple seconds he pulled away and held her in his arms.

"You won't find this." She said, happily wrapping her arms around his waist.

He nodded and walked over to the couch with her.
