Hey guys this is a new poem I have written. A. Please give feed back, if it's ok.
"My Lifeline"
Even though we come from two different worlds; you still want to hold me. Even though I'm not what people approve you still love me.
To be away from you would be darkness, in the absence of light. You are the light to my soul which is why I won't leave your side, for you are the one keeping me alive.
So please breathe into me as I lay falling into darkening sleep; and ethereal dark. If you could light the night, and bring a single smile. This would light even the darkest of places, for God, brought your light into me, and for this I'm grateful.
So please bring me back to life. Listen to the bear and rhythm of my heart, and how it matches thine own. How it aches, and bleeds with your pain when your hurting. And how it soars with you when you are smiling and bright.
Your love is how I came back from the dark. For God answered a prayer of mine, to find you and hold you. And this will never change.
For your more than my light, more than my love, your my life line. So please hear my pleas, and harken to my cries. I will never leave, nor regret our love in this life. So please my love, and heart, continue to be my lifeline.
