She didn't need lots'a friends, she only needed him.
"Uva..Te..rer?..Ah..er.." Dylan narrowed her eyes at the small unfamiliar words on the page. 'Dang it!..Maybe I should ask Golan to teach me how to read...But he would be mad if he found out I took the book.' She sighed and shook her head. "Uvate..rer..a-"
Suddenly her book was snatched out of her hands. Dylan gasped and looked up. "..Dang it Mackenzie! Give it back." She narrowed her eyes at the blond. 'Of course SHE has to come bother me in the middle of a spell..' "Why should I? Is THIS your diary?" Mackenzie smirked and called to someone behind Dylan.
Dylan turned her head to see Mackenzie's two best friends. "Hm? Is this her diary?!" The brunet shouted and ran over. "Maybe we should read it? How does that sound Mackenzie?" Mackenzie glared at Dylan. "I don't know...I don't wanna know what a freak would write! I might be traumatized. Like, What if It's about her stupid and ugly overlord?" Dylan's eyes widened. Everyone knew they couldn't insult her lord without her getting mad. "You little-" Mackenzie turned away from her friend and stared down at Dylan. "What?.."
Dylan's head snapped up and she glared at Mackenzie. "YOU LITTLE-" Mackenzie's eyes widened. she took a step back and dropped the book. "What's wrong with-" Dylan lunged at her and knocked her to the ground. "Eee!"
"Damn girl!" Golan stomped around town, heading to her school. "Worst aqulite ever! How dare she steal my book!?" He saw the school and smirked. He started walking over "When I find he-" "Get off me you FREAK!" He turned around. "What the?.." He walked over to the fence. "How dare you say that?!" His eyes widened. "Dylan?" He finally caught sight of her, and three other girls. Though two of them were cowering next to each other, while the other one was getting beat up by a certain aqulite.
"How..DARE...you!" She said word after each punch. "HE'S NOT STUPID OR UGLY! He's the.." Golan opened the gate and walked in. The two girls screamed and ran off. "He's the best lord ever! He's smart, dark, and powerful! He'd be able to scare you off in one secon-" Mackenzie screamed again and froze, making Dylan stare at her confused.
Dylan looked behind her and smiled widely. She got off Mackenzie and ignored her as she ran over screaming. "My lord! What are you-" She watched as he walked over to the book and picked it up. She stared down at her feet guilty. "Let's go, Dylan." Dylan walked over to him and they walked out.
Every couple minutes Dylan would glance Up at Golan, feeling guilty. After while Golan couldn't take it and glanced down at her while she stared up at him. "Listen..kid.." He brought up his hand an laid it on top of her head. "Thanks for defending my honor.." Dylan blushed and looked away with a small smile. "Well..what kind of aqulite would I be if I just let her talk bad about you?.." Golan smiled. "I appreciate it." They walked home together with small smiles on their faces.
