"Solomon, you will not have Saya." Haji said as he threw a dagger towards Solomon. Solomon stopped moving, his left eye and hands were twitching, finally having enough his temper snapped. "Oh for the love of God; I do not want Saya!" He snapped.
He looked at Haji exasperatedly. "I will say it as many times as you want to hear." He said as he walked towards his love. "I want you...Not Saya, just you." He said, his words punctuated with each step.
Haji's normal blank frown became more pronounced with each word that came out of Solomon's mouth. "Quit lying!" He snapped before he continued. "Besides, why would anyone want me?" He said with a barely noticeable hint of sadness.
Solomon felt anger, pure unadultered anger, he had seen the way Saya had been treating Haji, had always been treating him. Quite honestly he had seen dogs that had been treated better. Even his Queen, Diva, was better than Saya when it came to treating her chevaliers with dignity.
