Jennifer began to feel a little dizzy, when she awoke she realized she was in a casket, luckily, she hadn't been buried yet. Obviously, the undertaker hadn't had the time to bury her after her apparent best-friend 'Needy' had viciously butchered her with a Stanley knife. Of course, Jennifer didn't blame her, she had literally eaten Chip, Needy's boyfriend, to death at the Spring Formal. It wasn't her fault she'd gotten hungry.
One thing no one had realised was, she'd never have hurt Needy... Sandbox love never dies. No one had ever understood the love they had for each other, and even though Needy had killed Jennifer, Jennifer didn't want revenge... she'd already forgiven her. Demons don't just die like that.
Jennifer pushed herself out of the casket and then walked out the funeral directors... and into the bright day. It wasn't however bright, it was grey and raining.
"Ugh, first day back alive, and it's raining... just my luck, need a shower bad" she murmured to herself. She walked the long road back to Devils Kettle, the small town where Jennifer had been born and killed. The whole town had been torn apart with one thing or another. The night that everything had begun was the night of the fire down at Melody Lane.
That was the night Jennifer had been mistakenly sacrificed as a virgin and become a human eating demon. It didn't have such an appealing title, and was more like living like a zombie... surviving on humans, because if she didn't she would become weak and vulnerable.
Needy had been sent to a institute for the clinically insane, but it would have just been as bad if she'd been sent to prison for the murder of Jennifer. However, she had managed to escape using parts of the demonic power that had been transferred to her when Jennifer had scratched her in self defence.
After she had escaped she had gone on to kill the members of the band "Low Shoulder" they'd been the ones who'd started it all. Had they never gone to Devils Kettle, Jennifer, Needy, Chip and the others who were lost in the terrible events, would have continued to live their lives.
Jennifer walked into her mothers house to see her mothers face pale as milk. Jennifer looked at her with surprise.
"Mom? It's me? Jennifer" she said, approaching carefully in-case her mother attacked her with a kitchen knife.
"Jennifer's Dead... has been for 2 weeks now." her Mom replied.
"Well I'm back anyway..." Jennifer added, not really caring about the ranting and raving her mom was having.
"Oh sweetie, I don't understand, you were murdered about to be buried... I think I might just be going crazy" Her mom babbled. Jennifer shook her head and giggled slightly.
"Well evidently everyone got it wrong because I'm alive... unless it's like those zombie movies... where the dead come back to life." Jennifer added, blowing up her own ego as she had usually done in her previous life. Her mom nodded in agreement, a little shocked to speak. She knew it was Jennifer. No one else would usually inflate their ego within 10 minutes of walking in a room. She could be quite arrogant at times.
