Her eyes were closed but she could feel the room getting brighter. The sun was rising. It was about 7:30AM. She really wasn't sure what woke her up. Then she opened her eyes. He was gone. Well, not necessarily gone, but he wasn't asleep. Next to her. Where he should've been.

She got up. When her bare feet landed on the floor a chill shot through her whole body. She was only wearing a tank top and super tiny sleep shorts that were practically underwear.

When she reached the stair case, she knew where he was. She smelt the bacon and was surprised that he was making a big breakfast. They had to start getting ready for work soon.

She stared at him standing with no shirt and only sweat pants. He was looking in the refrigerator, so his back was to her. She quietly snuck up behind him and wrapped her arms around him from the back. She rose to the tips of her toes and rested her chin on his shoulder. She felt so much better with their bodies pressed together.

"Morning."

"Morning Princess."

He turned around and snaked his arms around her waist. She then moved her chin from his shoulder to his bare chest, looking up at him. They were both smiling, and they couldn't stop.

Five minutes later they finally realized they had been standing there a while. The separated and walked over to the dining room table both with hands full of plates of breakfast food.

They ate and made easy small talk.

"You know we have to go into work today, right?" The smile on his face dimmed

"Sadly." He said. "We have an hour, though."

"Well, someone needs a half hour to dry their glorious hair."

"Don't be jealous." They both laughed.

"I wish we could just sit her forever." He says

"Me too."

"Well since we have to get ready anyway…" he paused, and her eyes narrowed because she knew he was going say something either really stupid, or just really silly.

"We might as well shower." he finished. It wasn't as stupid as she thought it would be.

"Not a bad idea." she said.

They cleaned up breakfast and headed up the stairs.

She went in the shower first, then he joined her.

The water was extremely hot, practically burning their skin. Just the way they liked it.

They made love and got squeaky clean all at once, without their lips ever parting.

They finally finished, got out, dried off, and finished getting ready.

"We should do that more often." he says.

"I don't know." Kensi says.

"C'mon, you cannot tell that you didn't enjoy that."

"I never said that!"

"Then what did you mean?"

"I enjoyed it. A little." She smirked at him, winked, turned, and sassily walked away with her hips swaying from side to side.

He met her in the living room. She wasn't paying any attention.

He ran up behind her and hugged her from behind so tight she could barely breath.

"You don't have to suffocate me, you know. I was only playing." She wrapped her arms over his and enjoyed the closeness.

"I know. I just love you so much." He loosened his grip on her.

"I love you too Deeks."

She turned around in his arms and she couldn't stop smiling. She ran her hands up and down his biceps, and then through his hair. She again rose to the tips of her toes. This time though, she pressed a soft kiss over his lips. It didn't even take a second for him to start kissing her back.

She said with her lips still touching his, with her smile dropping to a frown, "I almost forgot. We have to get to work."

He looked at her in reply and said, "Do we have to?"
