Hogwarts was a disaster. Bodies were laying everywhere and more were being carried in every few minutes. That's when you saw her. It wasn't the first time you noticed her, but it was the first chance you'd gotten to really check her out. Her shiny brown hair fell in her face as she helped dig out buried bodies. Her white teeth shone through her parted lips as she concentrated on the spells. She looked determined.
You wanted nothing but to have her acknowledge you. You wished that she would turn her attention on you and only you. But you knew that a big, bad Auror like herself would never give you, a mere schoolgirl, a second glance. She had other things to do, more important things to deal with besides silly schoolgirl crushes. To you, she was more than a crush.
You've had your gray eyes on her for quite some time, ever since you ran into her in Diagon Alley last summer. You were intrigued by her beauty at that moment. You'd hoped to catch her attention one of these days. You were going to see to it.
