The car was cold, and quite, as we drove slowly through the snow, on Eighth Street. The radio is all that we can hear, I looked at you before I looked back outside. We haven't talked since we left the hospital, I want you to yell, scream, anything, It's so overdue. The world outside is cold, but compared to us its worse in here.

I feel you look at me as I watch the slightly frozen rain, my heart speed up as he sighed.

In the movies this is the part where the end starts. I can't take this any longer, I unbuckled the seat belt and jumped out of the moving car.

I ran, I thought we, I was stronger, but all we do is hesitate. I haven't had a restless night sleep night in years. I prayed you would be ok every second.

My body is so cold as I'm running along the road. You never ask me to hold on to us, and carry on like nothing is wrong.

"Sapphire!" someone yelled, I spun around the wet locks of my blonde hair hitting my face.

"Law" I whispered as he stood 3 paces away from me, "what do you want Law" I said praying he said something that will be worth it. There is no more time for lies at this moment cause if he does I can't and wouldn't take it any longer.

I hate this part right here, the moment in truth.

He stepped closer and closer to me until we were an inch away "Sapphire, I want you to believe I can do this" I felt warm tears fall from my cobalt eyes. I hate this part right here; I just can't take these tears.

"Law" I whispered, he hushed me with a soft kiss.

I hate this part right here, the part where you always are able to real me back in Law.

You're my rock though, what holds me in place, never letting me go.

-8 years later-

I woke up and kissed Law goodbye before he went to work with Kidd. They were going to fly from Boston to Los Angeles. "I'll be back soon junior" Law said to his son as he giggled and hit him with his baby fist.

"Goodbye Sapphire" he called from the car as I waved good bye.

-A little while later-

I held my son as I watched the news, as I watched the planes crash into the twin towers.

He never made it home.
