Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon.

They'd split again.

Green let out a sigh, whether it was from frustration or pleasure he did not know. She had waltzed into his house when he'd opened the door to her and shoved him against the nearest wall, kicking the door closed with her foot as she went. She was young, two years his junior. She was a spitfire, an annoyance, and quite possibly the best thing to happen to him.

She was Kotone with long chestnut hair and hazel eyes that left Green in a messy puddle at her feet. She was Kotone, the girl who defeated Red in a record amount of time. She was Kotone, the girl who dated the crazed boy, Silver, and sought him out for comfort whenever they fought. She was Kotone, the girl he had fallen for after countless affairs.

"He's a maniac," she growled between kisses, straddling him on his bed. Green closed his brown eyes and hummed in agreement. The girl's hands moved from his copper hair to the bottom of his shirt. "He has no right to tell me what to do." In return, the boy mumbled something about how she was her own person. "That's right." She paused, sitting up to look at him. The boy looked at her bruised lips and then into her conflicted eyes. "We're not taking farther than kissing and touching. I'm waiting for marriage."

Oh, she was so pure, so virginal.

With a nod, he pulled her back to his lips and grumbled, "Got it."

He didn't see her for weeks after that. But, that's how it usually went. Silver and her would somehow encounter each other and suddenly, everything fixed itself.

"This changes nothing between us," she had said the first night she came to him crying and somehow ended up kissing him in bed. He had agreed. She had been a child at the time in his eyes, seventeen years old and so vulnerable to heartache.

When the doorbell rang, Green grunted into his pillow. It was late. Peeking out from under his hair, the clock glowed red in the dark.

2 o'clock

Throwing his blanket off, he took slow steps down his stairs. He already knew who it was. There'd been no point in dressing himself up for this. He knew she enjoyed looking at him with his shirt off. When he opened the door, he already had his arms open.

There was Kotone, nineteen with puffy eyes. Puffy hazel eyes. She didn't say a word. She didn't have to. It was routine at this point, and he'd already been reduced to a puddle. She didn't even have to be crying about Silver for the man to let her in. So, he didn't say a word. Instead, he let her close the door behind her and capture his lips.

AN: It's been years since I've written any fanfiction, and I felt like getting back into it. This is extremely short, and I may make a story either with this whole thing going on, or after this point. I'm not sure yet. Hope you enjoyed!
