Summary: Draco shows Hermione how much he loves her… DMHG. One-shot
Disclaimer; I do not own any Harry Potter characters here… They all belong to Miss J.K Rowling and the plot doesn't even belong to me, I read this story somewhere and it seemed perfect for Draco and Hermione. Please don't sue me… the story I got from the board of wisdom… The writer was unknown so I couldn't give the right acknowledgement…
"Hermione? Want to go for a ride?" Draco asked his girlfriend Hermione Granger who was busy reading the book, Hogwarts a history for the umpteenth time.
"You know how much I hate riding in your broom" Hermione looked up from her book to face her gorgeous boyfriend.
Hermione and Draco have been together since the defeat of the dark lord, they finally found the courage to tell each other what they felt.
"Come on Hermione… Please?" Draco said with his puppy dog eyes.
"How did I ever end up with a spoiled brat like you?"
"Because you love me and you find me the most handsome man alive?"
Hermione raised her eyebrows and said "Yeah Right"
"Please Mione, for me? I have something to show you…"
"Okay. For you." Hermione said standing up.
Draco and Hermione boarded Draco's broom which was the newest kind in the market. It was the Meteor9000. Draco let Hermione sit at the back and he took control at the front.
"Where are you going to take me?" Hermione asked.
"To the place that I want us to get married in." Draco smiled
Hermione smiled back at Draco and looked forward to the place. When they were halfway there, Draco seemed to pick up speed. Hermione closed her eyes; the air pressure was too much.
"Draco slow down. You know I hate going too fast" Hermione said.
"Come on, don't worry. I know what I'm doing. You're having fun right?" Draco said
"Please Draco slow down. I'm getting scared. My wand is in the common room. Please Draco slow down."
"Tell me you love me."
"I love you!"
"Tell me you love me with all your heart"
"I Love you with all my heart. Please slow down!" Hermione was in the verge of tears
"Hug me Hermione"
Hermione hugged Draco tight and kissed his cheek. She was begging Draco to slow down but he didn't.
"Hermione?" Draco said.
"Yes?"
"Take this protector from my head. My wand is not here. Just take it. It's blocking my view."
Hermione hastily got the protector from Draco's head.
"Hermione always remember that I will love you till the end of time…" Draco said.
The next day…
The headline at the Daily Prophet was "Broom crashes into the woods due to malfunctioning. Two people found. Malfoy heir found dead. Hermione Granger survived."
It turned out that halfway the trip Draco already knew something was wrong with his broom. He wanted to hear Hermione loved him for the last time and feel her hug and her kiss before he died. He gave Hermione his protector for her to survive. That was how much he loved her, enough to give her his life.
When Hermione got better from the wounds and broken bones she had, she asked Harry to take her to the place Draco wanted to take her before the accident.
When she arrived at the place, she saw the most magnificent view ever. There was a waterfall in the middle of the forest. The water glistened as if it was embedded with tiny diamonds. There was a huge oak tree near the waterfall. In the tree it was engraved that "I love Hermione until the Day I die- DM"
Hermione touched the bark of the tree and couldn't help but shed a tear.
"I Love you Draco Malfoy… Until the day I die…"
