Temari was a lot of things. A tomboy. Blunt. Sadistic at times. A pretty good embassador for Suna, and only a caring person to her siblings.
Untrue.
There was one other person who she cared about deeply. And no, It's not Shikamaru Nara, he was in love with the 'Troublesome Idiot' of his village, Naruto. Doesn't matter how many times he tried to cover it up, she saw them holding hands, she knows it happened.
She cared about Hyuuga Hinata.
In the War she had noticed Hinata's growing strength and quietness and she thought it was a lot better than those howling Banshee's Sakura and Ino (But then again, those were banshees that were in Love).
She had grown to appreciate silence at a young age because of Gaara, so she wasn't surprised that she liked being around the quiet Hyuuga Heiress.
How she doted on the younger girl.
Hinata wasn't a flashy person, but Temari knew everytime she came from Suna with new Gems for her, Hinata was very Happy with the gifts Temari gave her.
Well today... Today was going to be slightly different.
Temari looked to the Gem in her hand and smiled. After two years of showering gifts, going on dates and learning about each other in many different ways, Temari knew she was ready.
Stepping up to the Hyuuga Household, she took a deep breath in and walked forward.
Never before did she feel this nervous. Not even when Gaara threatened her life multiple times when they were younger, it was that serious to her.
A Hyuuga Family member led her through the house, the Curse Mark gone because the New Hyuuga Leader, Hyuuga Neji, had made a few changes around there with the guidance of Hinata.
Temari smiled as she saw her small Gem sitting before a tea table in a white Kimono.
" Hinata-Chan." Temari smiled as Hinata stood.
" Temari-Chan!" She walked forward, arms wrapping around each other as they kissed each other in greeting.
" How Are you?" Hinata asked after the Kiss was broken.
" Fine Hinata-Chan. I just came to tell you something." Hinata frowned slightly.
" I-Is something wrong?"
" Eh? No! Everything's perfect. I just wanted to give you your jem and ask you a question."
Hinata nodded as Temari fished out what she had.
It was an Amethyst Pendant with Diamonds on Each side as it was on a silver chain.
" Marry Me Hinata?"
