Summary: This is set in summer 2001; it's before Colin's accident and
before Julia's death. Just a snapshot of the same day, but in two
different places and in a time when none of the characters are aware of
what lies ahead in the next year.
Prologue The lazy days of summer are a sight to behold. They are carefree and simple, for in summer, nothing is complicated. Perhaps that's why youth and summer often go so well together, one carefree thing after another, days blending, moments never ending. It doesn't matter if you are in New York City, or in Everwood, CO, for everyone, summer is bound to be the same.
