In the light of the Born to Endless Night Snippet released at May 30th, I have written this fanfic.
It was written on 3rd June, and entirely based on the Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy - Born to Endless Night Snippet, so it is normal if it doesn't agree with the story released later. Also I haven't read any of the shadowhunter academy books, so the story may not match with it.
It's my first ever fanfiction, hope you enjoy!
Obviously, you would call it Malec," said Beatriz. "Are you stupid, Simon?"
"I will not be distracted!" said Julie. "Does Magnus have piercings? Of course he does, when would he miss an opportunity to shine?"

Just as they speak, Magnus and Alec entered the room. "Hi, Simon. Nice to see you again. How've you been?" Alec asked politely. Julie and Beatriz stopped the conversation immediately, and dropped their jaws as Alec greeted Simon. Simon forgot to mention to his new friends about what happened between him and the Lightwoods.
"Umm, hello, Alec. Nice to see you too." Simon replied awkwardly. It was embarrassing to see someone whose sister you used to be in love with but forget about, and Alec seemed to sense it too. "I'm fine, I guess. If fine means getting bruises all over my body during demon hunter training, yes I am fine."
"You'll have to get over it, boy," Magnus said with a crooked smile. Julie and Beatriz started murmuring on the other side of the room, staring at the three of them surprisingly.
"I know, so I'm not complaining," said Simon. He did not know how to continue the conversation, or how to talk to these people he used to be close with. Magnus was always cheerful as he remembered, but Alec was always quiet and careful around him. He could not remember what he did to him, or with him.
"Izzy and Clary asked us to bring a few things to you, when they found out that we were coming here. Well, not a few things, quite a lot of things actually, including some manga and games and a few weapons. Izzy said you would feel more comfortable to have your own private weapons, and asked you to call her if you have time."
"Umm, thank you, Alec." Simon replied. It was good to have something to kill time, he thought, though he did not like the feeling of Alec doing him favors.
"You're welcome. So would you come by my room to collect those stuff later?"
"Sure. Thanks again," said Simon.
The second when Alec and Magnus had walked out of the room, Julie could not hold it anymore. "By the angel! You didn't tell me you know them! Alec and Magnus I mean. How could you not tell me? Why would you know them? Alexender Lightwood and Magnus Bane? They are legends! And who is that Clary Alec talked about? Is that Clarissa Fairchild he meant?" She was almost screaming with excitement. Beatriz seemed to agree with her.
"Uhh, well I do, or I did. I just... I just can't remember the most of it," Simon replied with hesitation, "and I couldn't find a chance to bring this up before."
He did not know whether he should answer their questions. Was he ready to tell them about his past in New York? That his best friend was Valentine's daughter, that he was turned a vampire and went after Sebastian Morgenstern to hell? Vampires are gross and dead, he recalled what Julie said a few minutes ago.
"I'll tell you all about it later, but not now," he decided, and went to find Alec.
So how is it? As I said this is my very first time to write a fanfic, so I decided to keep it short. Tell me your thought so I can improve!
