A Note To Barrett
Dearest Barrett,
I'm sorry. I know you think I'm weak, I know you're probably angry at me leaving Marlene but I just don't want to stay anymore. You know why don't you? But don't blame him Barrett, it's not his fault. I accept all blame. Don't give him a hard time.
I just want you to know Barrett I'm grateful for all you've done for me. You took me in when I was just a weak, naïve, and traumatised little girl. You helped me become a fully functioning adult, well almost, and for that, I will always be indebted to you. Please look after Denzil for me. I know you'll be a great father to him.
